Originally formed by Park Kyu Ri, Jung Ni Kol, Hang Sung Yoon, and Kim Sung Hee, K-pop girl group Kara came to life last year. Promoted as the next Fin.K.L, things went well for the promising group from DSP Entertainment, but after the activities for their debut album Blooming were completed in October, vocalist Kim Sung Hee suddenly left the group. After a round of auditions, two new members joined the band, turning the original quartet into a quintet. The new members are Koo Ha Ra and Kang Jee Yeong, aged eighteen and fifteen, respectively. Now the group is finally ready to launch their highly anticipated follow-up mini album. The principal track on this five-track release is Rock U, a dance song that promises to push Kara’s career to the next level with its enchanting melodious beats.
